“Nirangal Moondru” is a 2024 Tamil hyperlink thriller movie directed and written by Karthick Naren and produced by K. Karunamoorthi under Ayngaran International. The movie stars Atharvaa, R. Sarathkumar, and Rahman in the lead roles.

“Sri”, a young lad, greatly admires his former teacher, “Vasanth”. One day, he sees a girl being kidnapped by four men and believes she is Parvathy, the daughter of Vasanth. Fearing for her safety, Sri starts to inquire. At the same time, Vasanth, devastated by Parvathy's vanishing, is desperately looking for her. Sri recognizes the vehicle used in the kidnapping and, with his friend, sneaks into the building where it is parked, determined to uncover the truth.

Meanwhile, Vetri, a struggling filmmaker who is addicted to drugs, is in the process of shooting a short film. Unaware of the fact that what Sri saw was his own movie's kidnapping scene, Vetri had met Parvathy for a brief while during the day, but his own life spirals out of control when a co-director steals his script, driving him into further desperation.

Inspector Selvam is investigating a hit-and-run case involving Minister Iyyappan’s sons. The minister bribes him to release them since the victim survives. Meanwhile, the thief who stole Vetri’s script, Thyagu, gets caught and reveals the script’s whereabouts. In retaliation, the minister’s son Bala orchestrates an attack on Selvam’s son, Vetri.

When the commotion unfolds, Sri realizes that the kidnap was staged as part of a movie stunt, but Parvathy is nowhere to be found. Thyagu subsequently reveals that Parvathy had walked into a car voluntarily that morning. She had really fled from her abusive father, Vasanth, who had been persecuting her for years. Her mother, Shobha, had helped her to escape secretly.

In the meantime, Vetri discovers the script thief and reveals the real culprits. But Selvam, who has developed a personal interest in the case, is killed by Iyyappan's goons in revenge.

Finally, Vasanth pens an apology letter, taking responsibility for his mistakes. Sri is finally aware of his father's love, and Vetri, free from his past, honors his deceased parents. “Nirangal Moondru” is a heart-gripping tale of truth, justice, and redemption.
