Bangalore Police Inspector Joseph Chembola commits suicide after writing a letter regarding the activities of a group of drug addicts headed by Christy Savio. Eight months later, in the state of Kerala, fiery police officer Harishankar, called Hari, is sent down in rank and posted to the out-of-the-way Aluva police station. He investigates a KSRTC conductor, Chandrababu, who tried to pawn a fake gold chain, leading to a case tied to his own tragic past.
Hari is plagued by his own PTSD from the suicide of his daughter Nila and takes out his psychic trauma on his wife with shocking cruelty. After Chandrababu’s daughter commits suicide after public humiliation, Hari kills a drug addict in anger but loses memory of the incident of Nila’s death. So Christy’s crew goes and kills ASI Thomas in retaliation, thinking that he killed the drug addict. Hari eventually goes up against Christy’s crew, overcomes them, and poisons their look-alike drugs, thus killing them all.
