“Pattas” is the 2020 Tamil martial arts action film that features director R. S. Durai Senthikumar as the producer and under his own banner of Sathya Jyothi Films, which stars a dual role actor Dhanush with Sneha, Mehreen Pirzada and Naveen Chandra.

“Pattas”, is a carefree young lad who gets himself into trouble when he robs an MMA academy. “Kanyakumari” has been recently freed from jail, attempting to kill Nilan-the owner of the said academy. She soon finds Pattas as her long-lost son. Pattas saves her when Nilan catches her and the real truth behind Patta’s life unfolds. “Dhiraviyaperumal” used to be Patta’s father, and years ago, he was the king of “Adimurai”, which is the old Tamil martial art.

His arch-rival could not master the technique and returned years later as a kickboxing champion. He was going to replace Adimurai with kickboxing, but Dhiraviyaperumal would not let this happen. Faced by rejection, Nilan murdered his father, poisoned a student and burnt the school to death, killing everything, including Dhiraviyaperumal. Kanyakumari was able to take the baby for murder, leaving baby Shakthi orphaned.

Now, Pattas starts training in Adimurai and enters the tournament of Nilan. Crossing dirty tricks and injuries, he defeats Nilan in the final fight. Pattas’s victory brings recognition to the martial art and fulfils his father’s dream.
