The film Rakshas is set to star Ranveer Singh is officially cancelled and will not be released. This major cinema project was a collaboration planned with director Prasanth Varma. The popular production company Mythri Movie Makers was also involved in the venture. The main actor the director and the producers have all formally agreed to stop the film.

The project was cancelled because of creative differences between the star and the director. This means their ideas for the movie did not match up. They could not agree on the storyline or theme so they decided to shelve the entire project. Very little about the plot was ever made public before this decision.

Since the movie is cancelled it does not have a release date and audiences cannot watch it anywhere. The team showed great respect for each other despite the disagreement. Fans should be happy to know that this talented group plans to work together on a different, brand-new film in the future.
