Raktabeej 2 is one of the upcoming movies of the action-thriller genre. This new film’s story is anchored by Abir Chatterjee as IG Pankaj Sinha and Mimi Chakraborty as SP Sanjukta Mitra, both reprising their gritty, moral-driven roles—the narrative pivots around the fugitive Munir Alam, who represents not just a criminal threat but an ideological one. A chilling voice in the teaser warns: ‘You’re killing one Munir. Thousands more will come,’ setting a tense manhunt that becomes deeply symbolic of recurring terror across borders.
The film goes beyond the familiar sights of Kolkata and is set against some atmospheric coastal settings and possibly Thailand, resulting in note plenty of visual texture but also keeps its violence real and grounded.
