Shagird is an Emotional-Comedy Musical Romantic Drama Film crafted with excellence by Samir Ganguly. The Story revolves around the life of Professor Brij (played by IS Johar)- A Bachelor and middle-aged man living his lavish lifestyle and hates women and Alcholol and other Bad habits and living with his Principles. Rajesh (played by Joy Mukherjee)- A Kind-Man wanted to become a Ddiccspile of Brij and shelter with him- where he Meets with Adopted Daughter of Brij- Poonam (played by Saira Banu)- A Sweet girl and together they fell in love- but Brij eventually started to get attracted to Poonam- but when realizing his mistake- he arranges a Huge marriage ceremony for both, leading to consequences.
