Sohag Raat is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Kidar Nath Sharma. The Story revolves around the life of Beli (played by Bharat Bhushan)- a kind-hearted boy- whose mother on her death bed asked his Step Brother- Rahu to look for him- but he has evil plans for him for the sake of property and sends him to another village for his plans. However, Beli fells in love with Kammo (played by Geeta Bali)- a sweet girl living with her family- but Paro (played by Begum Para)- her friend too fells for him- On the wedding night, Kammo persuades Beli and Paro to elope but they are stopped by Rahu who tries to shoot Beli. Kammo comes in the way and is shot. She dies uniting the two lovers.
