Action comedy movie Sommokadidhi Sokokadidhi is directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. Along with Jayasudha, Rojaramani and Prabhakar Reddy, Kamal Haasan portrays dual characters here. The movie follows a naughty man who finds he resembles a renowned doctor and chooses to covertly replace him while he is gone. Acting as the doctor, he starts treating patients, which produces a string of surprising and hilarious circumstances. Confusion, and pandemonium erupt when the actual doctor learns about the impersonation, setting the scene for surprises and confessions.

Shekhar is a respected doctor, known for his discipline, and calm nature. Carefree and playful, Ranga finds he has an exact resemblance to Shekhar. Ranga is curious and amused. Hence, he chooses to pretend to be the doctor while he is away from the hospital, therefore causing chaos and mayhem in Shekhar's life. Shekhar, meanwhile, discovers his double and sets about inquiring. Pretending to be Ranga, he goes to Ranga's residence where he encounters Rangas cousin sister and quickly falls in love.

Ranga meets Shekhars fiancée at the same time and falls for her too. Funny circumstances develop as the two guys keep living each other's lives. When Ranga and Shekhar are shown to be long-lost identical twins separated in infancy, the narrative turns serious. Shekhar's separation resulted from goons kidnapping him years ago. Finally, the truth surfaces, and the brothers joyfully and emotionally meet. Ultimately, Ranga and Shekhar marry the ladies they had come to love, providing a joyful, and touching end to their travels of uncertainty, passion, and reunion.

Sommokadidhi Sokokadidhi is a delightful action comedy that skillfully blends humour, drama and emotion. The film's brilliant employment of incorrect identities results in amusing and surprising events that hold the viewer's interest throughout. With strong performances, and a heartwarming conclusion, it offers a perfect mix of laughter and sentiment, making it a memorable watch for fans of classic cinema and lighthearted storytelling.
