“Sorry Karma Returns” is a crime thriller mystery movie directed by Brahmanand Reddy and produced by Jai Kripalani. The film features Ragini Dwivedi, Arjun Sharma, and Brahmanand Reddy in lead roles.

The film is about “PK”, the narcissistic son of a prominent politician, and his friends who conspire on a holiday trip to a resort. Having always had their way, they behave with insensitivity and no regard for the consequences. But their previous transgressions soon come back to haunt them in bizarre and frightening ways. Each of them faces strange and inexplicable events which appear to be linked to the transgressions they have committed.

As the holiday goes awry, paranoia sets in. The gang starts pointing fingers at each other, but the truth is a lot darker. The same resort that they had planned to treat as their playground now becomes their scene of reckoning. They are all forced to confront the pain that they have inflicted upon others; whether through lies, violence, or betrayal. The more that they try to escape their fate, the further down they go into the arms of karma.

As suspense builds up, one wonders: Is revenge or divine justice? While PK and his friends fight for survival, they come to the realization that power and privilege cannot shield them from justice.

“Sorry Karma Returns” is a taut thriller that interweaves crime, suspense, and an unanswerable philosophical question: is it possible to ever outlast the aftermath of one's deeds? For all the movie delivers in visceral confrontations and spooky atmosphere, it leaves one speculating as to whether or not justice was dispensed, or if the forces of destiny get their vengeance eventually.
