Ratanlal is a wealthy man owning a mill and loves his only daughter Asha. The latter is in love with the union leader Vijay but he has no idea about it. Vijay is also the object of affection of a mill workers daughter Nimmo. Soon the mill workers go on strike and things get out of hand. The evil and crooked Lakhan uses terrorist and illegal ways to break the strike but without success. Things take a tragic turn when Ratanlal passes away. Asha then steps into his shoes and looks after the operations in the mill. Asha, who thought Vijay was responsible for the strike now feels guilty and mends her ways with him. The film is directed by Sunil Chadha and produced by S P Nair. The music is composed by Dheeraj. The star cast includes Javed Khan, Neelam Mehra, Manjushree, Pushpha Soni, Rajesh Sinha and Kamini Bhatt.
