The India House

“The India House” is an upcoming film, an action Telugu movie directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna and produced by Abhishek Agarwal and Ram Charan under the flags Abhishek Agarwal Arts and V Mega Pictures. In the background of 1905 London, the scene unfolds against an era of political unrest as Indian freedom fighters planned their struggle in secret against the British government. The fulcrum of the struggle lies at The India House, which was a haven for new revolutionaries where ideas on freedom took form. Amid the ferment of history, there takes place a dramatic love affair imprisoned in the conflicting urges of nationalism, selfless sacrifice, and loyalty.

There is a fine young man from Nikhil Siddhartha's side who leaves for London in hopes of finding himself in a position to offer his contribution to the struggle of India's independence. When he gets involved in the revolutionary activities in The India House, he is introduced to a fiery woman who is against his ideas and steers his life in a whole new direction. Their love blossoms in the background of treachery, espionage, and an ever-present danger of British spies watching them all the time. At the same time, Anupam Kher's character, a guiding figure, guides and advises so that the movement remains alive even as the dangers grow.

With the revolution underway, the British government ramps up its suppression of Indian nationalists. Friendships are strained, partnerships are broken, and the war for freedom is now a very personal affair. The movie poses the question whether love can win during war times and how individuals are forced to decide between private happiness and service to the nation.
