The Mehta Boys is one of the recently released movies of the comedy-drama genre. This new film’s story mainly revolves around the life of a young and workaholic architect named Amay Mehta, whose professional ambition gets affected due to a lack of confidence in his designs. Further, his life changes drastically after the untimely death of his mother, which forces him to return to his village in order to confront his beloved father, Shiv Mehta, but the catch is that his father, Shiv, initially plans to migrate to the USA, but an unexpected flight delay forces him into an unwanted forty-eight-hour stay at the Amay's lavish apartment located in Mumbai. Then, this forced situation majorly highlights the perpetual differences between his and his father’s perceptual ideologies and also sheds light on the Amay’s neglected personal life. Later, Shiv bluntly criticizes the Amay’s architectural profession and his stubborn nature blended in with his childish behavior. Later, they both together go on a dinner outing wherein Shiv reveals his painful belief, ‘life is incomplete without family. ’ and through this belief, he attempts to teach his son a lesson that he should never forget his own family while crafting his career. This is one of the recent movie releases that sheds light on the relationship of a father and son through some hilarious and witty moments blended in with some creative visuals and an relatable storyline.
