In order to help his widowed mother, fifth-year engineering student Rahul Chatterjee starts working as a taxi driver. He had no idea that operating a cab would provide him access to some wonderful life-changing experiences. Rahul watches the beginning and ending of many different human relationships while working as a cab driver. He also intervenes to save the life of a woman who commits suicide after experiencing a breakup. What happens next shows how several narratives join together to highlight the idea that humanity is superior to all forms of love, attachment, and kinship.
