Bollywood actor John Abraham’s production which is the remake of south film Ayyappanum Koshiyum', has been going through some hurdles. While it was reported earlier that actor Arjun Kapoor will play the lead with the Batla House actor in the film, his dates didn’t match the film’s schedule. This has resulted in him walking out of the project. 

The latest is that Dasvi actor Abhishek Bachchan has been approached to fill in his shoes. If things work out then John and Bachchan will be reuniting after 14 years. They were seen together in the Priyanka Chopra starrer Dostana. 

Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake will be directed by Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti. Apart from this film, John will be seen in Arun Gopalan’s 'Tehran' and Shahrukh Khan starrer Pathaan, while Abhishek has R. Balki’s Ghoomer and third season of web series Breathe.
