A powerful first look at a star in the making. kickstarts with Ikkis
Well, the wait is finally over! Agastya Nanda, grandson of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, is making his long-awaited big-screen debut with Ikkis. The film, directed by the master of thrillers Sriram Raghavan, is now firmly secured in its release date, and the just-unveiled teaser has already created huge buzz. Ikkis is a war biopic focused on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, one of India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardees.
The teaser certainly delivers the goods, providing a first look at Agastya Nanda in a gritty, edgy performance that begins a striking and ambitious career trajectory into Bollywood. With those elements, complemented by arresting imagery, a thunderous soundtrack, and heavy emotion and bravery in its tone, the film should prove to be both a beautiful showcase and a cinematic event and a wrenching commemoration. Agastya’s change is amazing, a long way from his The Archies avatar, displaying early signs of great acting skills and screen presence.
Backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and produced by Jio Studios, Ikkis already sounds like a debut that’s much more than a debut. It’s a confident declaration. Set to become the next big thing in B-Town when it releases on January 10, 2026, Ikkis should not be missed, and Agastya Nanda is now officially on the radar.
