Bollywood filmmaker Akarsh Khurana along with producers Sunny Khanna and Vikas Sharma have acquired the rights to remake the South hit  ‘Sankashta Kara Ganapathi’ in Hindi. The film will be titled ‘Baayein Haath Ka Khel’. Khurana who recently wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming sports film Rashmi Rocket starring Taapsee Pannu will be directing the film which is based on a man who has no control on his left hand due to a neurological disorder called Alien Hand Syndrome. 

 

Producer Sunny said, “I got a call from a friend of mine from South who informed me about this family entertainer film which is being loved by the audience. I saw the film and loved it too. When I showed it to my partner Vikas Sharma, he was of the opinion that Akarsh will be the right director for the film. Then we connected with him and even he loved the film when he saw it.”

 

Baayein Haath Ka Khel will be a family entertainer and will be written by Adhaar Khurana, Kashin Shetty, Lisha Bajaj, and Nipun Dharmadhikari. The male lead and other cast is yet to be confirmed.
