Popular art director and Kalank movie director Abhishek Verman’s father R Verman passes away yesterday at the age of 72. HE started his career initially as a publicity designer but soon was attracted to art direction and assisted art director Sudhendu Roy before starting out solo.

 

Some of the most notable movies R Verman has worked on include Shahrukh Khan starrer Pardes, Aamir Khan starrer Rangeela, Akshay Kumar starrer Aitraaz and Salman Khan starrer Andaz Apna Apna, among others.
