The upcoming Marathi film Phulrani, directed by Vishwas Joshi, has already generated a lot of buzz on social media. The role of Gaurav Ghatnekar as "Dhruv" was recently shared by the creators on their social media accounts.  Gaurav took to his Instagram handle to share his character poster from the film and wrote, "फॅशन इंडस्ट्रीमधील Successful बिझनेसमन 'ध्रुव'च्या भूमिकेत अभिनेता 'गौरव घाटणेकर'.. फुलराणी २२ मार्चपासून जवळच्या चित्रपटगृहात.."

The makers of the film recently released a teaser from the movie and also revealed that actress Priyadarshini Indalkar will play the role of the titular character. Subodh will play the role of "Vikram Rajadhyaksha" in the movie. Subodh Bhave stated about his character, "Every role gave me a different identity." I always gave roles that were always off the beaten path priority. I immediately agreed to play the role after the director and writer Vishwas Joshi described the plot of "Phulrani" to me. The movie is scheduled to release on March 22, 2023.
