Aditya Dhar’s blockbuster film Dhurandhar is headlined by actor Ranveer Singh alongside Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal which has taken the box office history to another level. Emerging as one of the highest grossing films of 2025 and also surpassed the earlier records set by Pushap 2 , Jawan and Stree 2.  Dhurandhar is a cultural phenomenon and has gone beyond its staggering numbers. 

With the kind of impact, the Dhurandhar has had on the audience, fans, the social media, there are reports that the Dhurandhar part 2 is a well-planned strategy to re plug the release date, there for the sequel is scheduled for Eid 2026 release.  The teaser will be re-established with the date and the new and fresh visuals.

Border 2 which is set to release on January 23rd starring Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty now suggests that the teaser of the sequel of Dhurandhar 2 will play along with Border 2 release. 

One of the main pointers is that Dhurandhar and Border cater to the similar audience base, making the promotional decision rooted to nationalism. The new teaser suggests at the end of its credits of part one, that it’s exclusively for the big screen before it drops down to the digital.  

Toxic is also scheduled around the same time but the makers of Dhurandhar 2 have remained firm with their plans and to go ahead with it. The commitment to the audience after the massive success of the first film. The team will deliver what they have promised . The full trailer is expected to be released by end of February 2026.

This would surely be a double dhamaka !  One more reason to watch Border 2 in the theatres is summing up with the mood.   Sequel made within a few months is a great idea said one of the fans summing it up saying, we usually wait for the sequel by the time we forget to the story by then as it takes a long time for the second part to be released but here Dhurandhar 2 is being released within a few months which would be a win-win situation for the fans as well as the makers of the film. 

Dhurandhar 2 is already shaping up to be on the most talked talked about releases of 2026 with its patriotic fever out and star power hence has garnered massive expectations.
