Starring Diganth Manchale, the trailer of Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karana was released today, and it looks like an interesting blend of dark comedy and crime thriller. The release date for the film adaptation has been set for 13 June 2025.
Directed and co-produced by debut director Samarth B. Kadkol under Hyphen Pictures, the 100-minute film revolves around Lohit Rajesh, a left-handed techie played by Diganth, who is falsely charged with four murders and one accident, all triggered by a harmless but annoying doorbell ring.
Diganth returns in the black comedy thriller Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karana
As she tries to fit into an all right-handed world, the short documentary trailer offers a chilling taste of Lohit’s everyday fight and her world spiraling into the nightmarish. A surprisingly whimsical voice-over, eviscerating and undercutting the seriousness of the crimes with equal measure, harsh yet zany, generates this contrast of welcoming, special, homemade ingenuity.
Diganth’s next, Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karana, is set for June 13 release
The movie stars Dhanu Harsha, Nidhi Subbaiah, Sourav Lokesh and Krishna Hebbale, with special appearances by Radhika Narayan and Nirup Bhandari. This is a second flick for the duo post their successful stint in Pancharangi.
After years of waiting and pandemic-induced blessed low-key anticipation, the film is finally prepared to meet its fans. With its distinctive concept and striking visual style, Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karana is set to leave a lasting impression in the Kannada film industry.
