Choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan recently visited singer Shaan’s home, and what began as a casual reunion quickly turned into a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

The two revisited their early days in Bollywood, especially their time on the sets of the beloved 1992 film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.

Farah Khan and Shaan share fun throwback moments from their Bollywood beginnings

Farah fondly recalled, “The first movie Shaan ever did was Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.” Shaan laughed, adding, “Yes, I was there with a saxophone!” Farah then shared an interesting behind-the-scenes anecdote, saying, “I actually joined as an assistant director. When they ran short of dancers, I started helping with choreography — and whenever someone didn’t show up, they’d put me in front of the camera. There’s even a scene where Deepak Tijori kisses my cheek — the girl who was supposed to do it refused, so they sent me instead!”

Their lighthearted conversation beautifully captured the innocence, spontaneity, and joy of their early careers. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, starring Aamir Khan, remains one of Bollywood’s most iconic films — and this heartwarming exchange between Farah and Shaan offered fans a delightful peek behind its creation.
