2025 Shines Bright and turning out to be a milestone year for Fatima Sana Shaikh with Back-to-Back Romantic Releases.

She is all set to charm audiences with two consecutive romantic hits. After two recent releases, the actress is now gearing up for her third Gustaakh Ishq - Kucch Pehle Jaisa, a film that promises to revive the nostalgia of good old-school romance.

At the film’s trailer launch event, Fatima expressed heartfelt gratitude for being part of diverse love stories this year and described Gustaakh Ishq as a “completely different experience.”

“I feel truly blessed to have worked with such amazing co-actors and directors this year be it Aap Jaisa Koi, Metro In Dino, or Gustaakh Ishq. I am fortunate to be getting stories where I can finally explore romance,” she said with a smile, and adding humorously, “Since it doesn’t happen much in real life, at least I get to live it on screen!”

She further shared, “I paid attention to every detail, hoping that maybe I’ll get a good romantic moment someday! It’s a completely different experience because these roles are so character-driven and that’s what excites me as an actor. If your characters don’t let you dive deep, it’s not as fulfilling.”

As Gustaakh Ishq beautifully blends poetry with love, Fatima Sana Shaikh added, “Even in our film, there’s a certain poetry to it. For me, playing this kind of a role feels incredible because such kind of films are rarely made these days, films that carry certain pace, feels like rhythm - it flows beautifully. I am very much thankful to Vibhu Puri and Manish Malhotra for envisioning me in this role.”

Directed by Vibhu Puri, Gustaakh Ishq - Kucch Pehle Jaisa is a poignant tale of passion and unspoken love, set against the soulful backdrop of Purani Dilli and the fading kothis of Punjab. Produced by Manish Malhotra and Dinesh Malhotra under Stage5 Production, the film hits theatres on 28th November.
