The Bombay High Court has recently abolished a complaint against the versatile singer, Kailash Kher, which was filed by Narinder Makkar, which stated that his song named Babam Bam affected various religious sentiments.
The complainant claimed to be a strong worshipper of Lord Shiva and said Kailash Kher's song 'Babam Bam,' which was made on Lord Shiva, had a vulgar video that showcased women in a very obscene and inappropriate way.
While dismissing the complaint, the court said that each and every action that may be disliked by a certain community of people doesn't implicate harming the religious sentiments.
This decision was given by a bench of judges named Bharati Dangar and S.C. Chandak. While giving this decision, the judges called out A G Noorani and said the inability to accept dissent from prevailing orthodoxy has been plaguing the society for centuries.
A division bench of Justices Bharati Dangre and S.C. Chandak stated that the lyrics were in praise of Lord Shiva and didn't include any type of malicious intent.
