The upcoming film Dasvi has been in the news ever since it was announced. Not only are fans curious to know more about the unique title but the fresh casting will be a treat for audiences as well. It will bring together Yami Gautam, Nimrat Kaur and Abhishek Bachchan in the leading role. Jr. Bachchan and The Lunchbox actress recently wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Agra. The actress wrote an emotional post on her social media page that read, “There are unforgettable roles in an actor`s life and there are unexplored places you visit that come with it. Rarely do the twain meet. Bimla Devi Choudhary (aka Bimmo) is one such gift who`ll forever be etched in my heart as the happiest, most thrilling and fun place I got to explore through a part entrusted so encouragingly and lovingly to me!! I already miss her...and can`t believe a journey that began 10 months ago for me finally came to its joyous culmination through some of the most surreal times of all our lives. Nothing but the utmost gratitude to all the stolid pillars of #TeamDasvi.” The Airlift actress also shared some BTS pictures from the film’s set where she is seen in an Indian attire. 

Abhishek recently updated his social media page too writing, “Let’s Go! On to the next one! Need your best wishes. Also remember, whenever you step out, WEAR YOUR MASK!” Dasvi is a social comedy directed by Tushar Jalota. The script of the film is written by Ritesh Shah of Pink fame. Abhishek was last seen in the Anurag Basu directed Ludo while Nimrat was last seen in Airlift opposite Akshay Kumar.
