Over the years, Janhvi Kapoor has truly grown manifold as an actor. Making her debut with Dhadak in 2018, the 25-year-old has been appreciated for her performances in films like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Good Luck Jerry, and more recently Mili. Janhvi, who is gearing up to play a cricketer in her upcoming film Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, recently gave a glimpse of her preparations for the challenging role.

Janhvi recently posted a picture on her IG handle from what looks like a rehearsal session for the film. Dressed in a simple racerback top teamed with shorts, Janhvi looked every bit the committed actor as she held a cricket bat in her hand, which was covered in Kinesio tapes, presumably for better grip and function. she captioned the post "It’s been a minute 🏏 #MrandMrsMahi." Many fans commented on the pic, saying they were excited to see her in action soon.

Mr. and Mrs. Mahi co-stars Rajkummar Rao and will release early next year. Earlier, the film, directed by Sharan Sharma, was rumored to be based on cricketer MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi, but the makers are yet to comment on the subject, keeping it under wraps. The film will be Janhvi and Rajkumar's second film together after Roohi.
