Keerthy Suresh is all set to unleash her action‑comedy alter ego in Revolver Rita, with its theatrical release officially scheduled for 27 August 2025, just in time for Vinayaka Chaturthi.
The news was unveiled through a short teaser video posted on X and Instagram, suggesting a colourful, off‑kilter narrative that combines comedy, thriller elements and jarring fight sequences. Directed and shot by J.K. Chandru, the film has seen Keerthy Suresh play the titular eccentric, mysterious protagonist, rumoured to sport several heads, including a RAW agent, gangster or cop, ramping up intrigue in the narrative. The film’s cast dazzles with Radhika Sarathkumar, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Redin Kingsley, Super Subbarayan and John Vijay. Crafted across Passion Studios and The Route, the crew boasts music by Sean Roldan, cinematography from Dinesh Krishnan B, editing work from Praveen K.L., and action by Dhilip Subbarayan.
Given that its slated release coincides with the mighty festival season rush, and a teaser already signalling good momentum, Revolver Rita is unquestionably one of the most awaited Tamil entertainers of this August.
