Balika Vadhu was one of the most loved Television shows when it aired in 2008 till 2016. Talking about the sensitive topic of child marriage, and a strong portrayal in the lead, Avika Gor won many hearts. The show is now back with its second season and is garnering all the love once again. While the first season focused on Rajasthani setup, the new season gives a glimpse of a Gujarati background. With the show already having gained so much popularity, another twist is just an icing on the cake. Reportedly popular Bollywood and Television actress Ketki Dave has been signed on to play the role of Dadi in the show. 

 

Ketki gained fame after Ekta Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, playing the role of Daksha Virani. Her negative role in Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, was also hailed alike. Balika Vadhu 2 stars Shreya Patel and Vansh Sayani in the leading roles. Watch this space for more updates on the same.
