Telugu film star Akhil Akkineni married artist and entrepreneur Zainab Ravdjee on June 6, 2025, in a traditional ceremony at the Akkineni family home in Hyderabad. Close relatives filled the small venue, joined by a few special guests, chosen to honour the family’s desire for an intimate affair. Veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, father of the groom, released official wedding photos on his social media accounts with words that captured the happiness of the day, calling the event an experience of seeing “finally, a dream come true.”

The bride, Zainab, wore a traditional white South Indian saree, with diamonds and pearls adorning her head, lending her an ethereal elegance and grace. Her understated beauty look, which featured a fresh-faced, almost natural makeup look and jasmine flower-adorned tresses, lent to her princess-like grace. Akhil Akkineni complemented her classic attire with a white silk kurta and dhoti, serving up a refined and modern, yet timeless, look.

The wedding celebrations featured a colourful baraat bharaat wedding procession, with Nagarjuna, Akhil and Naga Chaitanya dancing in jubilant form, the pure joy of which seemed to take over social media. This union is the second big marriage in the Akkineni family within a year, after Naga Chaitanya’s wedding to Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024. With Zainab Ravdjee now a part of the Akkineni family, the news has sparked a wave of celebration on social media. Consequently, fans and loved ones are sharing warm congratulatory messages, extending their best wishes to the couple as they embark on this new chapter in their lives.
