Bollywood star Paresh Rawal couldn’t contain his excitement as he announced his upcoming Gujarati film. Not only is he thrilled about doing a film in his native language but also that he is returning to Gujarati cinema after nearly 40 years. His last Dhollywood film was Ranjit Vyas's directorial, 'Parki Jani', which was inspired by the Marathi original play, 'Katkon Trikon' by Uttam Gada

 

Another reason for Rawal’s excitement is that the upcoming Gujarati film will be based on his play ‘Dear Father’. It featured actor’s like actors like Chetan Dhanani and Mrinmayee Godbole and Paresh Rawal himself. Sharing this news on Twitter the actor wrote, “So so excited ! Will be doing a Gujarati film almost after 40 yrs! It’s based on my play “Dear Father “which was a runaway success! Joining me on this endeavor is Ratan Jain ji ( Venus Films). Need your love and blessings.”
