Marathi filmmaker Tejas Deoskar is one of the few lucky ones to have directed the Bollywood Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit. The director worked with the Devdas actress in his film titled ‘Bucket List’ and has fond memories of the actress. He says, “She had come on the set with 35 years of work experience but that was never a baggage for us. She would come and ask me after the shot if it was fine or if I needed it differently. She always accepted changes gracefully. She was sharp. I remember there were two dialogues in a very long scene. She had rehearsed it but when we went on the set I decided to remove those two lines. She immediately pointed it out clearly; means that she always comes prepared on set.”

Tejas however had one minor argument with Madhuri towards the end. He explains, “A Maharashtrian homemaker always wears a gown at night and it is called a maxi. I asked her to wear it and the reason was general perception. But she refused and gave a very valid reason for it. But I was a little stubborn. I told her that she will have to wear it in the costume trial which she did. So we finally agreed to disagree on it. In the end I would like to say that given a chance I will always like to work with Madhuri Dixit.”
