Filmmaker Goldie Behl is making his comeback into direction after a long time with the upcoming web series Mithya. The show stars Huma Qureshi who plays a professor. Talking about the actress Behl said, “She is playing a Hindi professor. Unfortunately, there are very few who can carry the stature of a professor and has a very clean diction. Huma is slightly vulnerable, always interesting, we have seen her in aggressive parts so things fell into place.”

Mithya will also mark the acting debut of Avantika Dassani who is actress Bhagyashree’s daughter. She is playing the role of a student in the series. Praising her debut Goldie stated, “She has done a great job. I wanted a person who had a certain softness to her and had a millenial gen Z vibe to her but at the same time it was a very out of the box role, and she's very unpredictable in the show, so I just felt with a softer, younger face, her unpredictability will get heightened.” 

Goldie also spoke about the kind of look each scene had in Mithya saying, “There were strange things like generally we were waiting for rain. Sometimes when there was a sunny day, we used to wait for the clouds to come in. There's not even a single shot in sunshine the entire show which gives a beautiful look.” Mithya will premiere on ZEE5 on 18th February 2022.
