Actor Soha Ali Khan has opened up about a deeply unsettling incident that occurred during her trip to Italy. Speaking on the latest episode of The Male Feminist podcast, Soha revealed that she was flashed in broad daylight, an experience that left her shaken.

Soha talks safety, privilege, and women’s struggles

She admitted she had always considered herself protected due to her privileged background but this incident came as a shock.

Soha explained that being the daughter of veteran actress Sharmila Tagore and sister of Saif Ali Khan had shielded her from many of the harsh realities of the industry, including the casting couch. However, the Italy incident reminded her of the unsafe situations women continue to face globally. She also added that such occurrences are not uncommon in certain parts of the world but it was nevertheless disturbing to experience it firsthand.

Actress opens up on unsettling incident abroad

The actress, who tied the knot with Kunal Kemmu in 2015, was last seen in Chhorii 2 alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha. Directed by Vishal Furia, the horror film premiered on Prime Video in April and received mixed reviews.

Currently, Soha is also venturing into digital content creation, having launched her own podcast on YouTube to share more personal insights and conversations.
