Veteran Director Subhash Ghai attended the screening of his masterpiece TAAl along with playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy who was seen delighted at the screening in IFFI 55.

Speaking to the media at IFFI 25 Ghai said, “It’s a moment of happiness for the entire team of taal artists, technicians and the entire team, that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has put our film to showcase as one of India’s iconic films to the international audiences.

Singer Kavita Krishnamurthy said, “I'm grateful to Subhashji for giving me the song Ishq Bina, while the music was given by A R Rahman which was such a pleasure to sing.”

The film Taal has been a favourite of Indian audiences because of its melodious music and an ensemble cast including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Khanna, and Amrish Puri in the leading roles.
