The motion poster for the upcoming Marathi film "Maharashtra Shahir" was made public on Wednesday by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Shinde stated that the Shahir Sable biopic was a pressing need and will contribute significantly to the documentation of state culture and history. He wished the movie the best of luck. At the unveiling ceremony, which was held at the official bungalow of the chief minister, Kedar Shinde, the film's director, Ankush Chaudhari, producers Sanjay Chhabria and Bela Shinde, and Kalyan MP Shrikant Shinde were also present.

Shahir Sable was a well-known performer, playwright, poet, and singer. On April 28, 2023, the biopic based on his life is scheduled to be released. The film community has shown overwhelming support for the poster since it was unveiled. The background of the poster is the song "Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha...," which was first performed by Shahir Sable and was recently made the official state song of Maharashtra.

The protagonist's involvement in various sociopolitical movements and his call for awareness are symbolized by the raised fists in the background. In the title role, Ankush Chaudhari can be seen standing on top of a huge fist, which reinforces Shahir's image in the minds of his followers. The state government recently designated Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha..., sung by Shahir decades ago, as the state song. It is regarded as a memorial to the great artist. Director Kedar Shinde stated, "Shahir Sable is known as the towering voice of Maharashtra" in reference to the poster's release. In his biopic, his illustrious life will be shown.
