Unique Strategy Applied For The Release Of Ramayana International Premiere On November 6th 2026

Two days before its release Ramayana the much-awaited epic is arriving in international markets. Producer Namit Malhotra has confirmed that the film will be released on Friday November 6th 2026 which is the weekend of Diwali to mark the grand spectacle experience. 

Speaking of the release Namit Malhotra confirmed that Ramayana will hit the Indian theatres on Diwali while the overseas market release will happen two days prior to the release in Indian theatres. 

The English version of the Ramayana trailer mentioned November 6th as the release date.  Mean while India marketing is targeting for Diwali day release.   The strategy gives international audience an early opportunity to witness the much-anticipated mythological epic while the Indian viewers will celebrate during one of the biggest festivals in India.

Dharma Productions will handle the distribution of Ramayana while Sony Pictures has acquired the overseas distribution rights.  The film has generated significant buzz in the industry as well with the T-Series and have secured the music rights for both the parts, Part 1 and Part 2 of the Rs. 75 crores in an advance deal. 

Ramayana is directed by Nitesh Tiwari starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana while Sunny Deol is to play the role of Lord Hanuman and Ravi Dubey is Lakshmana in the upcoming epic.  The film features music by Hans Zimmer and A R Rahman.  Produced by Namit Malhotra, the epic is going to be one of the most ambitious Indian cinematic projects that is in the making currently all set for its part 1 release in November 2026
