One of the popular filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri took X(formerly Twitter) to express his concern on the current state of the industry and wrote a long note, which stated that the industry is highly struggling due to a lack of fresh ideas and concepts. Also he emphasised the fact that many actors today can't even fluently speak in the Hindi language, which directly affects their ability to connect with the audiences. 

Further, Vivek Agnihotri also criticised the industry’s major reliance on deceptive storytelling techniques because of which creativity is been faded away.

 Also, he believes that the industry is failing to produce raw, real and original content, which is why the major audiences are switching to other entertainment options.

Although Vivek has recently contributed in the film titled 'The Vaccine War' which was released in 2023 and as of now he is working on his upcoming film 'The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter' which is scheduled to release on 15th August, 2025.
