Seema and Arun meet by chance and fall deeply in love. They both wish to marry soon and begin to plan it. However Seema has a dark side to her and this creates complications in the mind of Arun and his mother. They nevertheless decide to tie the knot. But things take a tragic turn when Arun has a horrible accident and is presumed dead. Seema is devastated and takes to drinking alcohol. She begins to dance in clubs and one day gets raped by an unknown man. Meanwhile Arun returns back in Seema’s life and she is overjoyed to see him but is hesitant to tell him the truth about her life. He takes Seema to meet his family and she soon realizes that the man who raped her is non other than Arun’s brother-in-law Prem. She is then in a dilemma and commits suicide. Later when Arun comes to know the real culprit to be Prem, he kills him and is arrested. The film is directed by J Om Prakash and produced by Jagdish Kumar. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Prem Chopra, Nadira, Nirupa Roy and Indrani Mukherji.
