Puneet, played by Ajay Devgn is a Bollywood script writer and is happily married to Moon Moon, played by Konkana Sen Sharma who works as an architect’s assistant. They have a son Aayush, whose Hindi teacher keeps scolding him for not knowing the proper language or conversing in it. One day out of the blue a distant relative of Puneet called Lambodar Chacha from Gorakpur, comes to visit the family with his bag and baggage.
Puneet has heard of this relative but had never seen him. Since Aayush is taught in his school that a guest should be treated like God they are obliged to serve him. Few days turn into weeks and the chachaji shows no sign of leaving the house. He starts to interfere in everything that Puneet and Moon Moon does. Right from their professional life to their personal chachaji has to have a say in everything. Things get so bad that one day Puneet gets thrown out from a film because of his chachaji’s antics and Moon Moon almost looses her job. Lambodhar chacha has come with a special purpose in his mind and will leave only after he fulfills it.
The movie is directed by Ashwni Dhir and produced by Amita Pathak. The music is composed by Pritam and Amit Mishra.
