Sandhya, played by Raveena Tandon is brought up in a wealthy household. She has always got what she wanted and has lived a carefree life. Soon a poor man Gopi, played by Govinda hears this and wants to woo Sandhya. He pretends to be a rich prince and is successful in making her fall in love with him. However when she comes to know the truth she still loves him and they both decide to get married. Meanwhile Gopi’s close friend is in trouble and asks him to transform into an aunty as a favor. Gopi agrees and dresses up to look like a beautiful and charming aunty. Not only is he able to fool the people his friend had intended to, but he also happens to become the object of affection of two very older and robust men, who think she is a real woman and want her at any cost.
The movie is directed and produced by Kirti Kumar. The music is composed by Anand Milind and the lyrics are written by Sameer. The star cast includes Raza Murad, Mohnish Bahl, Kader Khan, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Harish, Rohit Kumar, Saeed Jaffrey, Karina Grover, Bindu, Reena and Mitra Joshi. The screenplay is written by Sachin Bhowmik and the cinematography is by S M Anwar.
