Babul is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by S.U. Sunny. The Story revolves around the life of two father's living with their daughter in different conditions- one lives with Bela (played by Nargis)- a sweet girl in a poor condition and she fells in love with Ashok (played by Dilip Kumar)- a kind postmaster and her father wanted her to marry him- but Usha (played by Munawar Sultana)- a beautiful girl belonging to a wealthy family fell in love with him against her father wish of marrying another man- who does Ashok will choose, leading to consequences.
