Ravi’s life has been riddled with tragedy from an early age when he loses both his parents. Soon he gets married and his wife too dies in an accident. This makes him think that whomever he loves goes away from him. He thus distracts himself in his work and becomes a workaholic. Soon he goes on a vacation and meets the smart and beautiful Aarti. They both are attracted to each other but he is unable to confess his
feelings as he feels she will die if he begins to love her. Aarti however confesses her love and promises to marry him. However she never returns. Heartbroken Ravi carries on with his life. After two years, Ravi runs into Aarti and comes to know that she lost a leg in an accident and thus didn’t want to burden him by marrying a crippled woman. They both reunite and get married. The film is directed by Lekh Tandon and produced by Tarachand Barjatya. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Navin Nischol, Anil Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Madan Puri, Rajendranath, Suresh Oberoi, Suhas Khandke and Avtar Gill.
