Hatim-Al Tai is born in the hosue of a Muslim king. He grows up to be a compassionate prince and helps the poor. One day as he is distributing gold and money to the poor a princess Mariam comes to him and begs to be helped. She tells him that her father will not allow her to marry her lover at any cost. So Mariam, Hatim and her lover go to the king to find the answer to his denial. The king then tells her that years ago when the king wa sin his bedroom, as beautiful fairy entered his room enchanted by the chandeliers. He was so taken aback by her beauty that he tried to molest her. The fairy then curses the king that whoever his daughter marries, will die on the wedding night and will turn to stone just like she is turning at that moment. He begs for forgiveness but its too late, she has already turned to stone. She however tells him that he or someone else has to answer seven questions to be saved from the curse.

 

Hatim along with Mariam and her lover travel to find answers. Every time a question is answered a part of the fairy comes to life. Soon he is able to solve all the questions and get Mariam and her lover married. The film is directed by Babubhai Mistry and produced by Ratan Mohan. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Sangeeta Bijlani, Raza Murad, Alok Nath and Satish Shah.
