HAQ (2025)

HAQ is an upcoming Indian legal drama directed by Suparn S Varma and written by Reshu Nath. The film is produced by Vineet Jain under Junglee Pictures, Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios. It features Yami Gautam, Emraan Hashmi, Vartika Singh, Danish Husain, Sheeba Chadha and Aseem Hattangady. The story revolves around a landmark legal battle that challenges societal norms and tests the limits of justice. The story revolves around Shazia Bano (an aggressive lady who claims maintenance from her husband, Abbas). It pits her in a tense courtroom battle. She is under social pressure and legal constraint. With fortitude and tenacity, Shazia finds the way to the Supreme Court. Her struggle defies time-honoured customs and lets her be heard. In HAQ, Yami Gautam portrays Shazia Bano as someone who holds her own and doesn't take things lying down. Abbas, whose deeds set off the legal battle, is portrayed by Emraan Hashmi. Vartika Singh, Danish Husain, Sheeba Chadha and Aseem Hattangady have shown up in essential supporting roles. The teaser features courtroom scenes with high-octane drama.
