Hum Kaun Hai is a 2004 film starring Amitabh Bachchan in a dual role as Major Frank John Williams and Frank James Williams. Co star with Dimple Kapadia and Dhamendra in the lead roles. The film is supernatural thriller directed by Ravi Shankar Sharmar .
The story revolves around the mysterious disappearance of a maid, butler and a gardener of Mrs. Sandra Williams(Dimple Kapadia), the wife of Major Frank(Amitabh Bachchan). They live in a palatial house with two children, Sara and David. Edgar and Maria a mute woman apply for the vacancies of their orderly and maid. Sandra hires both . Her children Sara and David have a peculiar eye condition that sunlight damages them hence the curtains in the palatial house is always drawn. Strange rules of the house is there should not be electricity or power with the lights on so they have been asked to work in the darkness.
Sara starts feeling a presence of someone in the house and tells her mother Sandra. She draws a picture of a male and a female and their son. Sandra also starts hearing noises and decides to investigate. A murder thriller super natural film takes you to events that is beyond belief and unfold leaving you at the edge of your chair.
