Kailashnath is a wealthy industrialist and a widower living with his 3 sons and a younger school going son. He wants his sons to one day take over his business so he can take a break from it all. But the sons have their own personal interests to take care of like acting, singing, boxing etc. The have no interest in the business whatsoever. They then get a new neighbor named Kaushalya who is a widow and has three daughters. They seem to be very similar to Kailashnath’s sons and thus strike a chord. So thus the six of them hook up and romance each other. The three couples are now intent on getting married. When the boy’s father hears this he flatly refuses to the marriage. Instead he decides to marry Kaushalya so the three couples cannot get together as a couple but instead will become brothers and sisters.

The screenplay is written by Sachin Bhowmick. The star cast includes Akshay Kumar, Moushumi Chatterjee, Pankaj Dheer, Prithiv, Chandi, Manjeet Kullar, Shafi Inamdar, Paintal, Anupam Kher, Tiku Talsania, Master Sumeet, Bhushan Jeevan, Shantipriya and Sushmita Mukherjee.
