Payal, played by Twinkle Khanna is a news reporter for a top agency. She is assigned the challenging job of interviewing a dreaded criminal don named Devraj, played by Akshay Kumar. She and her cameraman have the interview, where Devraj bares his heart out. His honesty and frankness, draws Payal to him and they both fall in love. Payal’s brother Ravi however isn’t very happy about his sister’s alliance with a criminal like Devraj. Meanwhile things take a drastic turn for Payal when her brother is murdered. Police inspector Amit investigates the murder and the evidence points to Devraj. Payal who is devastated testifies against Devraj and he is given the death sentence.

 

Devraj is filled with rage at this deceit of Payal and swears revenge. Meanwhile, it turns out that Amit is the real killer and is now targeting Payal and Devraj. The latter however learns the truth and kills Amit. Payal and Devraj thus reconcile and get married. The movie is directed by Umesh Mehra and produced by Keshu Ramsay. The star cast includes Rajat Bedi, Vivek Shaug, Gulshan Grover, Johnny Lever, Mukesh Khanna, Asrani, Avtar Gill, Shehbaz Khan, Gajendra Chauchan, Omkar Kapoor, Manmauji, Shiva, Ajay Chedha, Ram Mohan, Vidyadhar Balraj, Vivek and Shagufta Ali. The music is composed by Aadesh Shrivastav. The cinematography is by S Pappu and the choreography is by B H Tharunkumar and Ganesh Acharya.
