Jan Neta is the Hindi title for the major Tamil political action thriller, Jana Nayagan. The film, which is one of the most-awaited ones, will feature the superstar Thalapathy Vijay in his last role before his full-time commitment to politics. The picture is directed by the action maestro H. Vinoth, who is known for directing large-scale action hits, and Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions is its producer. The score for the film is by the talented Anirudh Ravichander who has already created a good hype around the film with his music. Pooja Hegde takes on the role of the female lead in support of the main cast, and Bobby Deol, the Bollywood star, plays the scary villain, thus assuring the audience of an experience of a blockbuster movie.

The main plot revolves around the protagonist, who initially is a common man, reportedly a former policeman, who then gets unknowingly involved in a local fight for justice. The theme of the film revolves around a common man's transformation into a reluctant leader who then goes on to challenge the evil forces, corrupt system, and mighty political czars. The director has assured that the audience will get to see an entertaining film which will be full of thrills and high-energy action, along with a very poignant and significant emotional aspect.
