Yashwant, played by Om Puri adopts Amrita, played by Juhi Babbar, the daughter of his late friend. Yashwant has a son named Randeep who is currently studying in Canada. Yashwant has plans of getting Amrita married to his son Randeep. However Randeep doesn’t want to come to India so Yashwant fakes a heart problem. Randeep gets very upset on hearing about his marriage with Amrita. But Yashwant warns him that is he doesn’t agree to the marriage all his property will go to Amrita. He thus agrees to the marriage.

 

They get married in a grand ceremony and move to Canada, however Amrita is shocked to learn that Randeep is already married to Simone, his business partner. They both insult Amrita and she runs away. She then takes refuge in an empty garage that belongs to Jay, played by Sonu Nigam. Soon the two become friends and fall in love. Meanwhile Yashwant comes to Canada to meet Amrita. But Randeep lies that she has started drinking too much alcohol and humiliated him and went away. Yashwant will now have to find out the ugly truth for himself. The movie is directed by Ravindra Peepat and produced by Nadira Babbar. The music is composed by Aadesh Shrivastava.
