Amar and Bihari have been close childhood friends even though they come from different social backgrounds. Amar comes from a rich and influential family while Bihari is from a poor background. Amar’s mother suddenly passes away and Bihari’s mother takes care and nurtures Amar like her own son. Soon the two boys grow up. Amar takes over his father’s business where he asks Bihari to give up his ancestral land for building a hotel. At first Bihari rejects the plan but as soon as Amar asks him he agrees. Things don’t exactly go their way after Amar offers a new house and the hotel to his friend, and Bihari looses his temper and slaps Amar. Things turn sour between the two and they part ways.
Amar’s father takes advantage of this misunderstanding and orders the hotel be demolished and blames it on Amar. Later Bihari’s sister Lalita is the one who reconciles the two friends who finally realize they had misunderstood each other and fight the bad guys. The film is directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Govinda, Bhanupriya, Amrita Singh, Neelam, Kiran Kumar, Saeed Jaffrey, Kader Khan, Sudhir Dalvi and Sangeeta Naik.
