A small village in Northern India is big on the sports of wrestling and an important match is held there every year. At this match two people in particular try to outdo each other. One is Avtar Singh, played by Sharat Saxena and the other is Jiten Singh, played by Om Puri who compete against each other and benefit from the trusteeship of that village.
Chander, played by Rajpal Yadav is the village post master, who is madly in love with Avtar Singh’s daughter Laadli. In order to marry her however, Chander has to show his prowess in the wrestling sport. He has to in fact defeat the 7 and a half feet tall Rama Krishna, played by Khali/Dalip Singh Rana, which is a main condition put forth by Avtar Singh to marry his daughter. Chander has to now prove his intelligence and physical strength in order to get the girl of his dreams.
The movie is directed by T.K Rajeev Kumar and produced by Girish Jain. The music is composed by Sreenivas and Sharreth. The singers in the movie include Shreya Ghosal, Abhijeet, Ravi Chaudhary, Anuradha Sriram and Srinivas. The cinematography is by Madhu Neelakantan and the choreography is by Pony Verma.
